Description
Croton is an extensively diverse family of colorful plants, its species ranges from herbs, shrubs to trees. Codiaeum variegatum refers to garden crotons which are commonly found in tropical countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and the western Pacific Ocean region.
Croton can be planted both indoors and outdoors. However, they prefer low light indoor conditions. Crotons do well in human livable temperature, typically found at home and most of tropical climate areas. Crotons have many amazing uses, besides being a food source, Croton nuts are also good source of oil, making them economically sought after. These plants also have great medicinal values. They have been known to aid in the treatment of diarrhoea, fever and colds and even skin problems.
